This breaks down into a 6-2 conference record, which was good enough for a sec- ond place finish behind Stewartville. KoMet batsmen hit for an average of .361 and outscored their opponents 77 to 6. Leading the KoMet attack was Bill Brekke with a .500 batting aver- age, followed by Gary Petersen at .414. I960, with the crown- ing of Queen Barbara Kellar, followed by the traditional bon- fire and snake dance. Activities continued on Fri- day with the parade of floats and K-M marching band. At 8:00 p.m. the KoMet football team faced the Stewartville Tigers, winning by a score of 20 - 6. Climaxing the event was the dance on Friday evening, from 10:00 • 1:00.
