Tom Blaisdell has held the posi- tion of class president for three years. The class has been well presented in all of the extra-curricular fields in the school. Jerry Harris was voted as Athlete of The Year; for two years Dennis Murphy has placed in the Minnesota High School Press Conference for his sports writing. The class also will long remember Michael Southworth or the hours he has spent as an accompanist for the chorus and its soloists and ensembles. It is also noteable that Val- edictorian Michael Southworth and Salutatorian Beverly Hanson have received some of the highest grades ever attained at school. Rita Stucky was chosen by the American Field Service to travel in Italy last summer, and last fall David Lostegrard’s first novel was publisher by a New York firm The Chicago trip was the highlight of the senior year. When funds proved a bit short, the class spent many long hours working until the amount had been filled. 44 CLAY ALBEFTSON: Annual business manager 4: Clafs Play 3. 4; Basketball 1. 2 3. 4; Football 1. 2. 4: Track 1; Class meer 1. 2; Pep club 1; Letter- men’s club 3, 4.
