JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1948, our freshman year, there were fifteen in our class. The day of Initiation was the big event of the freshman year. During the year Robert St. John, Edward Colburn, and LaVon Edison left us. Virginia Miller was our freshman Class queen attendant. In the Spring, the freshman Home Economics girls served the annual School Board Dinner. Jim Peterson and Rita Gourley left after they finished their freshman year. Our Sophomore year began with an unluoky number of thirteen students, but it really wasn’t unlucky. We honored the freshman with a Homecoming,Initiation Party. Marilyn Paulson and Virginia Miller, of the Sophomore Class, were ohosen as cheerleaders. At the end of the Sophomore year we lost two students, Melva Chilson and Jim Bungum, making a total of eleven. At last we were Juniors and were looking forward to receiving our class rings. They arrived at about the middle of October. Our next big event was our Junior Class Play, entitled My Hearts In High . It was direct- ed by Miss Norton. Joyoe Stewart was our Junior Class queen attendant.
