As eager young freshmen, we were un- certain of what to expect, but looked forward to the excitement of high school. After hearing the terrifying tales of freshmen initiation, some of us were considering bringing our parents on the first day of school. But we soon realized that being freshmen wasn't all that bad. Our Sophomore year came with new confidence. Now that we knew what high school was all about we were ready for anything! As this year pro- gressed, our class branched out, be- coming involved in many extra-cur- ricular activities. The end of the year came and eight members of our class were installed in NHS. As our Junior year dawned, the big event of the year would be the Junior Prom. As the Prom got closer, and clos- er, each girl had visions of going with her Dad, but the invitations came and the Prom was a great success. The sum- mer after our Junior year, a tragedy occured, KamRay Jenson lost his life in a motorcycle accident. He set an exam- ple and touched all of our lives. Could it be? Were we actually Sen- iors? Time had gone by so fast. We were now the leaders of the school and tried to live up to our responsibilities. Our graduation wasn't the end, but only the ' Beginning of the Best.''
