And Personnel Principal Rowley and Mrs. Larson in the office have administered the policies and run the school efficiently. Mr. Rowley handled discipline problems, advised students, designed curriculum, and made decisions affecting the faculty. John Ludvigson and Bryce Larson kept the school clean and comfortable. Mrs. Erickson was a welcome smile in the library. Even when busy she always had time to help you find a good book. With Mrs. Erickson’s help we have been able to get a larger variety of good books. This year showed much growth and improvement in Manti High School’s Language Arts and Fine Arts Departments. Several changes were made but the outcome marked an improvement overall. A Spanish Program was begun and had its great beginning with Mr. Richard Kimball (not pictured) teaching three Spanish classes. The Music Department at the High School expanded to this year include Mr. Don Findlay as conductor of the String Ensemble. Mr. William Thompson continued gaining a reputation throughout the county for having a department of students with superb talent. Mr. Clifford Hughes, new at MHS, taught all the freshmen in his english classes. Mrs. Dixie Bond prepared several senior students for college experience in her College Prep English Class. While some teachers were new at MHS, one particular english teacher spent her last year here. Trade Borgogna’s field of specialty included Drama and Forensics as well as English. The Art Department was under the direction of Mr. Les Bogh.
