SENIORS We the Senior Class of 74 have walked through the halls of Manti High School for the last time We have witness many changes and have helped form new traditions From the first moment we arrived at MHS as Sophomores, we have bee growing and maturing in both knowledge and experience. We began our Sophomore year unaware of what we were to face, yet anxious to participate in high school life We learned many things during this year and had fun doing it. All of our faces glowed with pride at the excitement of lighting our first letter We progressed forward earning the right to become Juniors We entered into our Junior year determined to participate in activities with more energy than ever By working together, .ve succeeded in doing our best in everything in which we were involved During Homecoming our efforts were rewarded when we produced the winning letter and float The highlight of the year was the Junior Prom. The Juniors and their dates sparkled with the romance of the evening and danced under the setting of yellow and orange. The anticipation, excitement, and preparation climaxed as we crossed the bridge onto the dance floor and promenaded to our theme song Pieces of April' The magic of that night has remained in our treasured memories of Manti High School. Our Senior year was our last big step up before our first big step forward. The knowledge that this was to be our last year made us participate in athletics, music, drama, speech, and organizations with more purpose than ever before Our Senior strategy caught the Juniors unaware as our Powder Puff football team came out victorious. We also showed our talents by pro- ducing an outstanding assembly Leading the school activities and setting an example for our underclassmen has made us more aware of the meaning of our school motto Self-Realization . Now at the end of our school days we stand with mixed emotions, knowing that we shall walk the halls of Manti High again only as alumni.
