Karl Bessey E Camera Shy: Allen Simons RB Football began this year with its third new coach, Russell Felt, and the assistance of Glen Goodwin and Bob Anderson. Coach Felt has been able to obtain a six thousand dollar grant for football equipment next year. Starting with difficulties, we came through league play with a 3 win, 3 loss record. Our last game topped the season off just right with a 21-8 victory over North Sevier. Allen Simons gained an all-state award for his outstanding rushing re- cord. J.V. CHEERLEADERS These were the Cheerleaders and Spiritleaders for Manti High School for the year 1972-73. With two Seniors, two Juniors, and five Sophomores, the Cheer- leaders worked very hard to promote spirit! Using various methods for raising school spirit, this year's cheerleaders painted signs, sponsored class compe- tition, selected a spirited boy and spirited girl at the end of the year, and set model examples of enthusiasm! The cheerleaders would like to thank all those who supported them this year. You have helped a lot to make it a great success!
