JUNIOR OFFICERS Roger Lund. Nanci Shiozaki. Kathryn Beacham, Craig Nielson. This has been an outstanding year for the Junior class. It has been spiced with their dances, assembly and other extra-curricular activities. Held in the storehouse of knowledge of the Junior class, the Junior Prom stands out as one of the most exciting events of the school year. Shades of purple, and the theme, Somewhere set the captivating atmosphere for this event. People wondering what the year to come would be like, looked over the Junior class. What they saw pleased them, for among the Juniors could be found existing and potential leaders, scholars, and athletes. When the year ended and the Senior colors began to fade, the Junior lines shifted to lead the spectrum of M .H .S.

As the Sophomores swung into the 1968-69 school year they brought with them their energy, enthusiasm, willing- ness to help and tremendous school spirit. Under the direction of their advisers. Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin, they plunged eagerly into all school activities, and came out successful and happy in everything. To prove their worth they attained second place in the letter-lighting and using a traffic dance as the setting for their Sophomore Swing, contributed fun and excitement to the M.H.S. school year. Their assembly also provided gaiety and entertainment for the studentbody.
