STUDENT COUNCIL This year the Student Council has been one of the most progressive in the history of Manti High School. They have had a campaign against litter bugs and people who jay walk. Both of which were great helps in making the year a memorable one. The publicity committee helped keep the school and the public informed on the activities of the year. This has been a new branch of the Student Council just formed this year. It has done a great job. The student council sponsored the first dance of the year which was a roaring success. All things considered the student council did a great job for the 1968-69 school year. 13

Todd Nielson Rebecca Mortenson Todd Nielson filled well his position of studentbody president. He took on the responsibility of leadership and helped to make one of the great- est years possible. Rebecca Mortenson smiled her cute smile all year, through even the toughest jobs. She seemed to add pep to the school and everyone's day. She was truly a great choice for vice president. Brant Tuttle was an activity man- ager that really planned some exciting activities. Jeannine Howell served as our bubbly secretary. She was always there with free-flying spirit and fresh ideas. As they reminisce over the old times past, they look forward, too, to a future life unknown and unexplored by themselves.
