PRINCIPAL ALBERT C. ANTREI GONE IS THE MAVERICK In the early days of American history it was the Maverick of society who explored the wilderness, invented the what-not, and exploited the resources. Largely and crudely self-trained, few of them were educated beyond basic needs. But today there is no need or function for them. All signs today point out the future only for those who can and will cooperate in scientifically organized exploration, highly technical inventions, and in team exploitation of old and new resources. Today's organization man must also recognize more self-consciously than did the old loner the importance and significance of the interplay of his own soul and personality on his society. He needs God and good government more than ever, and more than ever he needs to understand both. —Albert Antrei
