Prom Mistress: Sherry Mellor Prom Master: Morlin Buchanon Attendants to the Prom Mistress and Master were: Linda Blackham, Lorraine Ottosen, Lynn Dean and Kim Keeler. Prom chairmen worked hard, with results of great success. Prom Chairman: Peggy Sears; Decoration Chair- man: Carol Ann Braith- waite; Advertising Chair- man: Stan Whitley; Fin- ance Chairman, Ann Pederson. Following the Promenade the members of the Junior Class and their partners danced the first dance. -20-

Participants from M.H.S. in the reading division at the Regional Speech Meet were: Marilyn Poulsen, Carol Ann Braithwaite, and Marcia Sorensen. On March 6 these M.H.S. Students participated in the debate divis- ion at the Regional Speech Meet: 6th place winners of the district were Carol Willardsen and David R. Nielsen; 3rd place were Rox- anne Mortensen and Larry Reed, 1st place were Ida Lee Willard- sen and Reed Nielson. On March 20 the Regional Commercial Meet was held at Snow College. Participants in the Type Division were: Sandra Barnett, Jeanine Bahr, Ann Pederson, Sherry Mellor, and Linda Blackham. Bookkeeping: Carol Willardsen, Larry Reed, Roxanne Mortensen, and Evelyn Funk. Shorthand: Roxanne Mor- tensen, and Evelyn Funk.
