er On Oct. 29, we held our cheerleader try- outs. Four varsity and three jr. varsity cheer- leaders were chosen by popular vote at the assembly — mission — to cheer the team on. On Oct. 15 the F.F.A. initiated into its membership a group of little green moon On Oct. 17 the student council sponsored a matinee dance. Prizes were given to the best represented class. On Oct. 23, the F.H.A. held its Fun Fest. There were games, food, and fun, galore. -12-

On Nov. 20 the Sophs presented their assembly. The Can-can, danced by Don Reed, Lewis Garbe, Keith Nielsen, Ken- dall Olsen, Ronny Cox, and Francis Shand, is just an example of the fun contained in this assembly. On Nov. 21 the Pep Club sponsor- ed a matinee dance in which prizes were awarded to Marilyn Poulsen and Jeff Cox for the winning raffle tickets. Nov. 26 was the day for the Pep Club Formal. That night each pretty M.H.S. girl asked the boy of her choice. On Nov. 20 the F.H.A. officers took their oath into office. —14— On Nov. 12 the F.H.A. held its fashion show. What could be more fun than modeling? These girls should be complimented for a job well done.
