The talent of M. H. S. was shown in the four class assemblies during the school year. Creative talent in art, speech, song, and dance was demonstrated behind the scenes as well as that presented to the student body. Outstanding in the Senior Assembly was the scenery which showed their theme Ultra Red a story composed chiefly of dancing and took place in Hell. Ye Ole Toy Shoppe, the theme of the Sophomore Assembly, was a light entertainment, a portrayal of dolls coming to life at the stroke of midnight and their flippant gaiety as they performed in song and dance. Loyalty to our school and its motto Self Realization, was shown in the Freshman Assembly. Their poetry in speech was exceptional. Subway Personalities, a hilarious comedy was presented to the student- body by the Juniors April 11.
