New members were sworn into the Pep Club at a candlelighting ceremony which was followed by a banquet where pep club members, lady faculty members, and the wives of the faculty attended.

Bishop Doran The Senior's novel idea of a Lemon Squeeze became a reality on January 19. In spite of the sour lemons the dance was a hit, one of the last to be added to the Senior's list. -13- A few of the fine articles made by the students in shop. On December 23 the Seniors presented their annual Senior Ball under the theme of the Black Widow Ball. The gym was decorated with spider webs and with a large black widow spider claiming the north west corner.

The preferred men, Douglas Bjerregaard, John Allen Stevens, and Glen Brown, were chosen by the Pep Club and honored at the Pep Club Formal. The theme was In An Old Fashioned Garden , complete with a flowered lattice and wishing well. In bright red princess style dresses with full boxpleated skirts highlighted with white ribbons and gloves, the Pep Club proudly represented our school by marching at the halves of our basketball games. They seemed to shake the rafters of the gym with their T-E-M-P-L-A-R-S, TEMP--LARS.
