The Foundation was incorporated on May 29, 1947, to give direc- tion and continuity to the Illinois Future Farmer programs. Itserves as incentive for boys to develop farming programs on a long time basis. Boys making the soil test and an- alysis determine the available cal- cium, phosphorus, and potassium in the land and make recommendation as to theproper treatment for better crop production.
