Mrs. Frank Pilcher gave the banquet invocation. The salutation and the Respon- sum was rendered by members of the club . . . all in Latin, Before the 29 Latin students were served by the slaves , a sacaificulm was performed to appease the household gods. Our practical experience in art, journalism, and business will demonstrate to you the need for related school subjects which we are studying. By giving recognition to students in a book of this kind shows the accomplishments in scholastic and other school activities. It develops school spirit and gives us a sense of security in our school life. Our yearbook also wins friends in the community by informing parents and others about our work and activities of our school. It is a valuable opportunity to be a member of the yearbook staff because it helps us develop consideration and tolerance, a sense of responsibility, personal initiative and cooperativness.
