7fZeet0m,4 v47w4fff A MESSAGE FROM MR. J. PAUL GNAGEY: The gentleman who knows more about nuclear propulsion than any other man in the world, the man who is responsible for our nuclear powered submarines, has in his office this motto: THE MORE WE SWEAT IN PEACE THE LESS WE BLEED IN WAR. How true the above is in all of life. Translated into school life it would read: THE MORE WE WORK IN SCHOOL THE BETTER OUR CHANCES FOR SUCCESS IN LIFE. It has been a pleasure working with you the past year. I. Paul Gnagey, Supt. A more dedicated and loyal group of men you couldn't find anywhere, than our local school board members. Their main purpose is to set up a policy for the superintendent to follow. The board members make all decisions regarding the school and devote their time and effort to making the best possible education available to the youth of the community. fn'-ll Friendly, loyal, courteous, and competent are but a few adjectives that describe Mrs. James McCorkle, Secretary for District 4145. Her position is one of many varied duties which she performs willingly and well. SCHOOL BOARD, Left toRig,ht: I. Paul Gnagey, Supt., Henry Beedy, Edmund Smith, Robert Fairchild, Luther Meyer, Clerk, Donald Dunn, President, Clem Shreffler, Secretary, Wendel Milton, Lawrence LaMarre.
