mms SENIQIQ D EM cuxss 54 Memories return, upon looking down these halls of carelree days spent within these walls, where our minds were filled with knowledge and our hearts with happier days, where we learned to laugh, grow, and live in the world's better ways. Return with us now as we journey to the past and catch a glimpse of the seniors our school knew last . We have a Frankie, and though he can't croon, just give him his Ford and he'll race with the moon. And there is Gracie, cute, quick, and wise. What's that she said? All right, youse guys . And talking to her is our own Carol Shear. She'll stay in our hearts for many a year. Over there's Annie, known as Anna Lee. Pretty as a doll. Guess she'll always be. And Bobby Miller. What a guy! Never has a girl? VVhat a lie! Well, let's take a stroll down study hall way, and see who's behind in their lessons today. There's Genie over in the corner afar. XVould anyone buy a good used car? And jerry Winder, a very swell guy. A real square shooter in anyone's eye. Who's helping him with his English today? VVhy it's Marvin Gerdes, he's really O.K. Why up at the book- shelf it's Lyle we see. So nice to have for company. Now over there's jerry the guy with the car. He's one senior lad who is sure to go far. Why Suzie Giblin, a peach of a kid, there's a lot of knowledge under that lid. W'ell, that was Rosie who came through the door. She's smart and she's sweet. Hey! A note on the Hoor! Signed at the bottom is From Bertha to you . A swell kid like Bert will always come through. Let's leave study hall now and head for our class. Never can tell who just might pass. Reading the Hot Rod Annual is Gerald Shipp we see. I-Ie's a very nice guy and always will be. That's jim Rilott talking to him right now. He's a real ball player who really knows how. Ivell, Carolyn Lewis! A very sweet gal. Ask anyone in school. She makes a real good pal. And Billy Riley daydreaming of his pretty blue Ford. He's full of vim and vigor and just never gets bored. Now that's Dorie Brais coming down the hall. A likeable lass. M7ho'd she call? It must have been Pat, for she's coming this way. Now lhere's a real cute gal so they all say. There is our farmer friend Ken, a tall, quiet lad, as good a friend as any senior ever hadi. And everyone's friend could easily be Pete. He's the type of lad who's a pleasure to meet. That's Bobby Erickson he's talking to now. lf you can't do it, I'11 bet Bobby knows how. Over there's Delores, a swell senior kid and when studies are well done, we know Delores did. And Kathy is one very sweet senior lass. In matters of personality this girl can pass. Speaking to her now, is julia we see. She's a real nice gal. Over there is Davie! He sure looks nice for he dresses so neat. And in our band he carries the beat. Jeepers! lt's almost time to go! I really should, but I hate to so. I've really become quite fond of Manteno High and will think of it much as years go by. It was here I spent many happy days, AND MET THESE STUDENTS l'LL REMEMBER .... ALWAYS. P.
