SENICIQ DIQCDHECV Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. May 28, 1974, which will be a mem- orable date, has finally arrived. Now is the time for the reunion of the famous class of 1954. Of course, each member of the class has made a famous name for himself. This broadcast and telecast is brought to you by MCUD from the HCLASSY-26-CLUB , owned and 'specially built for the occasion by Gerald Shipp, the great restaurant tycoon, who plans to continue operating it after the reunion. XVe have here with us tonight many celebrities to celebrate the Grand Opening. The fabulous 4-STARS are entertaining, Robert Miller, Gene Xflfilkey, jerry M. Vfinder, and Frank Buck, who have made their names internationally famous as comedian singing stars. Listen tothe applause they are receiving! They are accompanied by Lyle Underwood, who has the top swinging sweet hot jazz melody band in the country. For the first fifteen years he was All-American pitcher, then gave it up to organize his band, and as you know, he and his type- writer songs are loved by all. The first of the alumnae to arrive are Grace Reiter and Carol Shear, who took the place of Marilyn Monroe and jane Russell in Hollywood. Carol is now married to a famous pro-football player and it is rumored Grace and her baseball player are to wed. Following them is Bill Riley, the Hot Rod King. As you know, he owns a Stock Car Racing Track in about every town of ten thousand or more. He has now relinquished his crown as United States' Best Driver and is just directing his business. Pete Schurman, president and top share holder of Ford Motors, just walked in. He drove his private Chevrolet Rocket 108. There is Marvin Gerdes, the famous book critic of the NEW YORK HERALD. 'He was quoted as saying on the book he reviewed the other day, Best book review I ever did. james Rilott made his name through pro-basketball and then organized his own team called J. R.'s GIANTS. jerry Jarvis, sitting at a table over there, con- tinued his editing career which he began on the MANTENAU. He is now Editor of the Giant Publishing Company. The former Pat Trunk is sitting with her husband, Secretary of Navy, at the next table. She is one of Washington's leading socialities. Rosemary Marcukaitis just arrived. She has the leading combination Charm and Airline Hostess School in the nation. It is naturally a success, Rosemary being most charming herself. Doris Brais, head nurse of New York City Hospital, is talking with Delores Taylor, supervisor of all women attendants of State Hospitals in the U. S. Our first lady, Secretary of State and Mother of the Year, former Bertha Ohlenkamp, just came in looking as well dressed and at ease as alwaysjulia Duke, President of Vassar College, is here. There is Ken Neitfeldt. Kenny is the Race Horse King and his fabulous Neitfeltdt Center will soon be completed. David Lyons is our Pulitzer prize winner. He won this for his book, Memoirs at Manteno High . Robert F. Erickson still waits for the milk check on the l8th of every month, but now owns so many dairy farms that his secretary takes care of all the small business such as stamping the checks for deposit only. Suzanne Giblin and Kathleen Young, better known to the classmates as Suzie and Kathy , have arrived. Kathy has schools all over the world for distinguished waitresses, and Suzie is a renowned physicist who surpassed all in her Held by the discovery of perpetual motion. The former Carolyn Lewis, now married to the President of the U. S., made her fortune by running a Correspondence School which was known and used by all. I, Anna Lee Boyd, in writing this, am not stating that all this will come true, but I hope everyone will become as famous and as successful as the prophecy has stated.

mms SENIQIQ D EM cuxss 54 Memories return, upon looking down these halls of carelree days spent within these walls, where our minds were filled with knowledge and our hearts with happier days, where we learned to laugh, grow, and live in the world's better ways. Return with us now as we journey to the past and catch a glimpse of the seniors our school knew last . We have a Frankie, and though he can't croon, just give him his Ford and he'll race with the moon. And there is Gracie, cute, quick, and wise. What's that she said? All right, youse guys . And talking to her is our own Carol Shear. She'll stay in our hearts for many a year. Over there's Annie, known as Anna Lee. Pretty as a doll. Guess she'll always be. And Bobby Miller. What a guy! Never has a girl? VVhat a lie! Well, let's take a stroll down study hall way, and see who's behind in their lessons today. There's Genie over in the corner afar. XVould anyone buy a good used car? And jerry Winder, a very swell guy. A real square shooter in anyone's eye. Who's helping him with his English today? VVhy it's Marvin Gerdes, he's really O.K. Why up at the book- shelf it's Lyle we see. So nice to have for company. Now over there's jerry the guy with the car. He's one senior lad who is sure to go far. Why Suzie Giblin, a peach of a kid, there's a lot of knowledge under that lid. W'ell, that was Rosie who came through the door. She's smart and she's sweet. Hey! A note on the Hoor! Signed at the bottom is From Bertha to you . A swell kid like Bert will always come through. Let's leave study hall now and head for our class. Never can tell who just might pass. Reading the Hot Rod Annual is Gerald Shipp we see. I-Ie's a very nice guy and always will be. That's jim Rilott talking to him right now. He's a real ball player who really knows how. Ivell, Carolyn Lewis! A very sweet gal. Ask anyone in school. She makes a real good pal. And Billy Riley daydreaming of his pretty blue Ford. He's full of vim and vigor and just never gets bored. Now that's Dorie Brais coming down the hall. A likeable lass. M7ho'd she call? It must have been Pat, for she's coming this way. Now lhere's a real cute gal so they all say. There is our farmer friend Ken, a tall, quiet lad, as good a friend as any senior ever hadi. And everyone's friend could easily be Pete. He's the type of lad who's a pleasure to meet. That's Bobby Erickson he's talking to now. lf you can't do it, I'11 bet Bobby knows how. Over there's Delores, a swell senior kid and when studies are well done, we know Delores did. And Kathy is one very sweet senior lass. In matters of personality this girl can pass. Speaking to her now, is julia we see. She's a real nice gal. Over there is Davie! He sure looks nice for he dresses so neat. And in our band he carries the beat. Jeepers! lt's almost time to go! I really should, but I hate to so. I've really become quite fond of Manteno High and will think of it much as years go by. It was here I spent many happy days, AND MET THESE STUDENTS l'LL REMEMBER .... ALWAYS. P. S. fDid you say Jerry J. had a ear?j -I'Vritten. by GENE WILKE ..I5..
