At the Awards Day Assembly a number of MHS stu- dents were honored for their achievements in athlet- ics, scholastic ability, and service to their school and community. Rhonny Valentine was named as the Civitan Good Citizen for 1976. Jay Hardin received the Bausch and Lomb Science Award for being the senior with the highest grade point average in four years of science. Industrial Arts Awards went to Mike High and David Skinner for Outstanding Achieve- rnent in Welding and Mechanical Drawing. Paul Brown, James Thompsona and Sam Wedgeworth were honored for placing third at the state Industrial Arts Fair in the area of Mass Production. .
