The victory was Mansfield's third within the district against one defeat. The victory gave the Wolves their seventh win of the season against one loss and a credit of 259 points to 33 for the opposi- tion. The Wolves' passing attack.just couldn't get going against a strong Choctaw defense. The Wolves semed to have the right kind of spirit to go all the way in the district. The team played with determination to the last second of the game. The Wolves took the opening kick-off and marched 65 yards in 10 plays for the first of seven touchdowns. Although the score was tied at halftime, the local team came back to score two touchdowns with a 62-yard run, a punt recovered in the end zone and a pass in the end zone.
