JAMES HICKS Jim's main interest lies in the mechanics of automo- biles. He is always ready with a friendly hello and cheerful smile for everyone. RUTH HILL Ruth is a newcomer to our school this year, hailing from Illinois. This vlvacious blonde camouflages her whip-like mind behind a pair of snappy hazel eyes and a cute smile. Activities--Chorus 3 5 Senior Play 3. WENDELL I-HTCHCOCK This lively red-headed lad is always ready for fun. His giggle is very contagious and his smile is always friendly. He likes sports, dancing, girls, and clever pranks. Wendell is everyone's Brother. EDWARD FURMAN Ol' Ed just moseys along taking life as it comes, always watching for the humorous side of things. When he can't find a funny side to a situation, then the outlook is very black indeed. Activities--Band 1,2,3g Chorus 1,2,3g Student Council 1g Yearbook 3 5 Senior Play 3. SHARON GILLESPIE Beauty, brains, and personality are true of Sherry's outstanding charac- teristics. Although busy with many school activities, her greatest con- tribution to the class has been her capable work as yearbook editor. Very ambitious, his out-of-school life is filled with many odd jobs. I-Ie believes in exer- cise, the right food, etc.,to endup witha prize physique which he has. SCOTT HUSTED Our capable editor of the Hi-Lights is both musically and academically gifted. He has been an outstanding member of both band and chorus and has represented Mansfield in District Chorus and Band. Scott is sure to find success in his future as a teacher. THOMAS HUSTED Behind Tom's quiet manner can be found real talent. He is artistic, creative, has a flair for writing, and gave a moving performance in the senior play. DONALD INSCI-IO Bub's interests are typical of many teenage boys, but his great enthusiasm toward them isn't. Math, science, sports, and hunting keep himbusy doing things he likes, but not too busy to chew the fat and let his bubbling laugh meander into the conversation.
