JAMES RATHBUN Jim is usually seen in the hall creating some sort of nrckus. There is never a dull moment in this tall lanky fellow's life. Jim has also been active in sports, as well as on the credit roll. Success should come easy for Jim. JOHN RIEPPEL A pleasant word and a smile for everyone has made Jack a friend of all. Equal to his ability of getting along with people are his talents in working with machinery, guns, and cars, His present hobbies promise to carry him far in his chosen field as a machinist. JERRY RICE Happy-go-lucky Jerry's interests center around cars and sports. Jerry works for his ifather during his spare time delivering gas. He also can be found tramping through the woods during hunting season. You can often hear his laugh ringing through the halls. With all these qualities, Jerry is assured of a successful life, SHIRLEY ROSE Shirl is always fun to be with, whether in the classroom or just out having fun. As treasurer of our class, working on the class planning committee, and as a member of the yearbook staff, she has willingly helped our class to succeed. Her eagerness to help and friendliness to all promise Shirl a welcome wherever she may go.

IEA NNE MORGA N A peppy miss' as a cheerleader, accompanied by her scholastic ability in the classroom, make Jeanne an 'all-around' girl. As President of the Student Council, she represents the student body well. She has made contributions to band and chorus throughout her high school career. With her friendly and under- standing personality, she will be assured of a happy future, LEE OBOURN If you see activity that looks like fun, there is Lee. His interest in sports, as well as his participation in class activities, makes him a welcome member of our class. An interesting and enjoyable future is sure for carefree Lee. PHILIP PARKER Phil, as he is known to his friends, can often be seen traveling around town in his '41 Ford coupe. Phil also plays the electric guitar and trumpet. He is always on the lookout for an argument to help pass the time away. MARILYN PUTNAM Although she is quiet, Marilyn makes every word count. Her ability to play the clarinet is a great contribution to the band. A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature. Emerson

SUSAN RUSH Peppy Sue always has a smile for everyone, even when the chips are down. With all her talent in music, we know it will open many doors to success. 'Without music, life would be a mistake. Nietzsche DOUGLAS SA RGENT Sarge is an all-around guy. He excels in all sports and is quick witted in the classroom. His trademarks are a cherry Hi, and a catchy grin, Doug also likes A to fish and hunt. A highly successful life is in store for this ambitious fellow, HARRY SCOUTEN Harry likes square dancing and roller skating. He is also interested in cars and has a part time job after school. JOSEPH SHERMAN Joe, a boy who likes hunting, is also an F. F. A, mem- ber and an F. F.A, basketball player. He plans to work on a farm.
