Nothing is impossible to a willing heart, BETTY JACKSON This tall brunette with long, beautiful hair likes sports and sewing. Betty is a member of chorus and F. H. A, She plans to be a beautician. THOMAS JOHNSTON As past president and present vice-president, Tom takes an active role in our class activities. His abil- ity to discuss politics and education are well known to all. He is on the prom committee and is head of our class planning committee, His persevering per- sonality will carry him far in his chosen army career, JAY KENT One of the outstanding typists of our class, Jay's in- terests are mostly connected with the commercial field. He is also an avid hunter and sportsman. Jay's ability to make friends easily insures a happy future.

NANCY GRAFIUS They say beauty killed the beast, but at present, no one is certain. Needless to say, Nancy has been gifted with looks, as well as personality, As a cheerleader, her peppy enthusiasm has often urged the team to vic- tory. Her love of fun and excitement has been en- joyed by all. 'JAMES HARRIS Jim, a prominent member of F.F.A. , likes square dancing. Because his interest is farming, he natural- ly wants to be a farmer. ROBERT HICKS - This tall lad likes sports and hunting. He plays bas- ketball and is a member of the yearbook staff. Bob plans to get a good job and also to get married when he finishes school, JOHN HUFN A GEL Wherever there's fun, you'l1 be sure to find Jack in the midst of it, Jack has a swell personality which enables him to get along with everybody. He can often be seen driving around in a '54 Dodge. He also has a great amount of persuasive ability, as his mag- azine salesmanship ranking attests.

Her willingness to lend a helping hand has endeared her to many, WILLIAM KSHIR Slow but steady, that 's Bill. His rare personality, an interest in mechanics, and his good manners are - bound to be helpful in his future. WILLIAM LOVE Dark and handsome, Bill keeps the girls in a dither. He can often be found talking with the boys in the hall during lunch hour. His ability to get along with people will take him far. PA TRICIA LUN N Pat's neatly coiffed head can usually be seen in many a group, Whether she is sharing a friendly chat, singing in the chorus, or editing the HI-LIGHTS, she does an expert job, Patti represented us at Girls' State last year. Business Administration is her chosen career.
