This striking blonde shows that brains and beauty do mix. Judie, an honor student, is assistant editor of the HI-LIGHTS, and is a talented participant in many music activities. She is sure to find success in any career she choses. Sewing, cooking, knitting, crocheting, roller skating, and ice skating best describes our busy Donna, She always has some project, this year generally home- making, up her sleeve. NANCY BENNETT Always on the go, Nancy manages to have a good time wherever she is. When she came here from South Dakota last year, our class gained an outstand- ing student. Nancy's ambition is to become a social welfare worker, JUDITH BESANCENEY GRA CE BOLT Quiet Grace graces our school with her deep religious convictions. Hardly ever seen without her Bible, she travels her Christian path. As you may have guessed Grace plans to enter the field of religious service. DONNA JEAN BOYDEN

EDGAR BAILEY This ruggedly handsome boy is as good-natured as they come. He can often be seen whizzing around in his blue Ford, or stuffing himself on ham and pizza, An officer in our F. F. A. , he is known for his depend- ability. This quality will carry him far. JOHN BARDEN A sincere personality, plus a flashing smile has made John a friend of everyone. His participation on the yearbook staff and on the prom committee have shown his interest in class activities. His hobby of photog- raphy, along with his talent of making friends, will carry John far in his chosen field as an x-ray technol- ogist . JANET BARRON A sudden burst of laughter tells us that Janet is near. She has shown outstanding ability as a cheerleader, With her warm and friendly personality, she is sure to be happy, Laugh and the world laughs with you. KAREN BAUM Back to us after a year in New Hampshire, Kate has once again added her quiet charm to our class, Skat- ing, reading, and swimming are just a few of her var- ied interests which promise her a bright and happy fu- ture.

CAROL BRA DWA Y Happy-go-lucky Carol came to us from California last year. She has since served capably in many class activities and made our class much happier with her humor, Faithful Carol spends many of her after -school hours typing for the HI-LIGHTS and working as liter- ary chief ofthe MANSCRIPT. J A MES BROWN Jim may seem quiet at first glance, but once you get to know him, you'll find he can be as devilish as any one. His quiet look may come from his love of na- ture and the sports of the great outdoors. Jim's sin- cerity will always bring him great happiness, i CATHERINE BURKE This statuesque brunette was Mansfield's representative at the Flaming Foliage Festival at Renova. She is the band's solo clarinetist and attended District Band. Cathi's warm personality and quick wit make her a friend worth hav ing. WILLIAM CA DY Bill blows his coronet like an angel, yet a nuclear engineering career interests him, He can be found working at the A8rP when school is not in session. A hard worker, but always ready for a good laugh, that's our Bill.
