He came to Mansfield in the same year that we entered high school and since then he has done much for our class. Together, we became accustomed to high school, and togeth- er, we entered the new school. His wise guidance, efficiency, and firm backing have supported us through our years in high school and smoothed over a few of the rough spots. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to have him for a teacher will never forget his patience, fairness, and un- derstanding. We can truthfully say that he is one of the best teachers we have ever had. Thus, to Mr. Brennan, wewish to say, Thanks - for every- thing. 3 if gi I x i il, 3 Q ,Et x 2 Z A if 'Li si as ned if Y , Z, A Q 51 s ,I 10 X 5- 's 4 w Y L ,J P 1 1 ' w , ?L 3 A K . BIXBY We, the class of '60, wish to thank the members of the Mans- field Ioint School Board for giving so much of their time and effort to the planning of our new addition and the redecorating of the old school. You have helped make our school one from which we are proud to be the first class to graduate, and we are very grateful. To the 1960 Graduates May I congratulate you on your accom- plishments. You have succeeded under rather trying circumstances. Last year with a building program going on you did your work well, both in the classroom and in other activities, and this year you have been very helpful in assisting the faculty to open school in the new building where many adjustments had to be made. You will find that in life you will have to make many adjustments. New methods, new organizations, and new inventions will test your ability. So you will find that the training you have had in adjusting to new situations will probably be very important. I wish you well, and may you ever be open-minded to the changing times. With faith in God and your fellowman you will succeed. Sincerely, Warren L. Miller Supervising Principal Principals Messages Congratulations to the members of the Class of 1960 upon successfully completing your High School Careers. Your Manscript Staff and Advisors are to be commended for this fine book which you will always cherish. The members of the Faculty join me in extending to you our sincere best wishes. May you always enjoy happiness, freedom, and peace of mind. what you do for yourself may start you on the way up in the world, but from there on up, it is what you do for others, that will determine the degree of success that you will enjoy. Brightly colored crepe paper formed the canopies of sidewalk cafes, and 'candles glowed on the cozy tables for four which were scattered around the edges of the floor. H.S. soccer team did not finish as high in the league as many fans hoped it would. The team's record of 0-1-4 was not outstanding, however, the boys did play well at times.
