Hand Under the able direction of our instrumental instructor, Mr, Baynes, the concert band provides both enjoyment and entertainment for its many members and listeners, Playing for assembly programs, charitable benefits, and their own pleasure, the superb band of our school is a valu- able and necessary part of the curriculum, Orchestra and Khorus CHORUS The chorus has had another year of progress under the untiring direction of C, Wayne Stringer, During the winter, the group sang for our Christmas tableaux and this spring spent many hours on an operetta. Several members have attended county, district and state chorus festivals. ORCHESTRA Another of the exceptional music organizations of our school, the orchestra, takes an important part in concerts, recitals and various other kinds of entertainment, Made up of junior as well as senior high school students, this 'little symphony' is truly an asset and one of which Mansfield can be justly proud. MR, ST RINGER This energetic music supervisor has worked hard to promote inter- est in the choral groups of our school, Among his achievements are the girls' en- semble and the mixed ensemble, His spirit and en- thusiasm have made it possible for us to inaugu- rate an operetta this year.
