This year Dave took over the difficult task of leading the band and has done a swell job. His perform- ances in the Talent Show proved that he could very easily become a second Frankie Laine. Her efficiency, and dependability won her a good Job at the bank and her good looks have made her popular with girls and fellows a- like. She possesses the ability to draw anyone into a conversation and her smooth dancing and unique Jitterbug steps are the 5 envy of all. Jane's calm disposition enables her to handle any problem. ' 5 ROBERT SWINSICK Bob, the class Romeo, is six feet, three incheshof brain and brawn. Under the brain category, he has a lively sense of humor that he knows how to use. He can joke just long enough to delight his fellow classmates, and then can turn to serious work just in time to suit the teachers and come up with an excellent report card. Proof of his popularity was shown when he was elected President of the class for two out of three years. As for brawn, just watch him on a basketball court or a soccer field. He hasn't such a had set of vocal chords, either. 35 County Chorus 25 Senior Prom 35 Tal- ent Show 1,25 Year- book Staff 3. ANN TAYLOR Modest, curly haired Ann Hides a devilish spark under that demure exter- ior. She had the honor of being chosen Snowflake Queen at the Senior Prom, and it's not hard to see why after you've been with her for a while. She is con- siderate of others, is genuinely inter- ested in the problems of her classmates5 and, as if this weren't enough, she has an unusual sense of humor that pops out every other minute. If this doesn't help her when she becomes a Kindergarten teacher, nothing will. LUCILE TICE Mix together: ambition, dependability, common sense plus a dash of humor. The result - Lucille. An excellent commercial student and a whiz in bookkeeping, Lucile Still finds time to type for the Hi-Lights. Her future is decided for she and Leo have the date set for the summer of 1953!
