JOHN BOWER Small, but swift as a swallow on the basketball court, is John - a fine friend, and a congenial companion, usually quiet until roused-and then look out! Our school will long remember this valiant little guy, who, in a spectacular re- cord-breaking game, rolled up 30 points with the greatest of ease. PATRICIA BROWN Here's a lively miss with a bit of dynamite behind those dark sparkling eyes. Pat is one of those lucky people who can change her hair style often and still look attractiveg besides ,all this she rates high on the ladder of well dressed people.' She is one of the flashing majorettes but ls at her best when she is having a merry good time. SHEILA BROWN nLovely to look at, del1ghtful'to know--.H The words of this song truly fit Sheila, one of the few really beauti- ful girls in the class. Her clothes are perfect, her poise is natural and without self-consciousness, and her grooming is faultless. As for her artistic talent, words fail us. For evidence, take a look at the school paper and this year- book. And what's more, when she has a Job to do, she does it well, without fuss or bother, and how she does it is be- yond us, for there are always a million things waiting for her to do. When you combine musical talent, capa- bility, fair beauty, and a very superior brain, the results cannot help but be far above what any of the rest of us could ever hope to attain. Her many activities, including the editing of this yearbook and playing solo clarinet with the High School Band keep her busy and at any hour of the day you can see her flying up and down the hall in a flurry of excitement. Eddie and his red head will long be remembered marching along' in the band or zipping about on the basketball court. Eddie has cap- tured many memorable scenes from high school days with his camera. If a light suddenly flashes in your eyes, or a bass viol comes walking up the hall, you've found Eddie. PHYLLIS BAILEY Black hair, slanting eyes, a slim waist line, and a voice of an anbel! Sounds out of this world, doesn't she? Ah, but she's very much in it! She has a practical mind that plans her work and then works her plan,-and we do mean works. Her exceptional talents in music are varied and fine, and her nPhi Beta Kappan grades testify her intelligence. In the future we will in all probability say, NI knew her when ....n If you see somebody zooming around - in a blue Ford, it is probably Bob who joined our Knighthood Order this year from Charleston. A willingness to work and a pleasing personality have made him popular with everyone. An Ag student we assume he is planning a farming career. CLARA BOLT Lively, petite, black-haired Clara likes to read and has a passion for horses. She has a beauty which was evident when she was chosen Miss Roseville of 1951. Clara claims to be a manhater. We wonder who the lucky guy will be who will chanse her mind. Her ambition is to be a secre- tary, and by the looks of her marks she will be a success. Senior Play Staff 3, Hot Lunch Secretary MARILYN BULLARD Marilyn, the charming, capable secretary of our class, has long been popular among her Classmates. Her vivacious, sparkling personality guarantees the fact that you will always find her the center of any group. Her plans for a June wedding have the rest of the Senior girls envious. In conclusion, any time that you see those sparkling eyes and rosy cheeks that denote a person whom it is fun to be around, you'll know that it is Marilyn. G.A.A. 15 F.H.A. 1' F.H.A. EDITH BURLEIGH Giggling and a general commotion announce the arrival of Edith, one of the best dressed girls in the Senior 'Class. She likes boys and horses, no special one! Edith's sense of humor and her practical jokes are known by every- one. Edith certainly adds spice to the Senior Class. B BRUCE CAMANGA Basketball, tract, and soccer find Bruce always present. His ambition will insure him success, for when there is work to be done Bruce does it quietly and efficiently. His capable reporting of sports events have made him a valua- ble member of our class and his congen- ial nature will be long remembered. Just knowing nCoocn, we're sure that he will succeed in any one of his chosen occupations-commercial arts, exploring or chemical engineering. STANLEY CHAMBERLAIN WStann is one of the more quiet follows in our class. He is interested in farming and he will undoubtedly make farming his career. HStann has a ready grin and a good word for all. He is usually seen down by Mr. Clark's room mornings, between classes, and at noon, for obvious reasons shown by the gleam in his eye.
