This year’s Varsity Varieties had two evenings of entertainment, sponsored by the Senior Class. The event took place in the auditorium on Nov. 12 and 13. The theme chosen was “WMHS TV Channel 82.” It was a take-off on a day of television programming and included 7 comedy skits and 8 musical acts. During the intermission, Percy Hall and the Senior High Jazz Band performed. Directing the production was Tony Yetzer, with assistant director Debbi Anderson and producer Scott Thompson. The girls’ tennis team completed their season with a respectable 7-10 record. Their most impressive wins came over Clear Fork and Marion Pleasant. They defeated both teams twice.
