Golfers Have Disappointment The 1981 Tyger Golf team had a discouraging season, ending with an 0-12 record. They finished 6th in the Mansfield Tournament, 8th in the Buckeye conference, and 11th in the sectionals, beating Tiffin Columbian. Steve Sidle, a junior, received the medalist award for his second straight year. Richard Bazley received the most improved award. Leading the golfers this year was Coach Dick Henry. Bl RM AM ARE

This year’s Varsity Varieties had two evenings of entertainment, sponsored by the Senior Class. The event took place in the auditorium on Nov. 12 and 13. The theme chosen was “WMHS TV Channel 82.” It was a take-off on a day of television programming and included 7 comedy skits and 8 musical acts. During the intermission, Percy Hall and the Senior High Jazz Band performed. Directing the production was Tony Yetzer, with assistant director Debbi Anderson and producer Scott Thompson. (Class advisors Mary Margret Moore and Dave Gross worked with the production.) Business managers were Debby Yohman and Scott Kochheiser, while Todd Grogg worked as stage manager. RRR cake ata aR
