On January 9th and 10th the 21st annual J. C. Gorman wrestl- ing tournament was held at Mansfield Senior High in Pete Henry Gym. Hang Doan, former 1980 J. C. Gorman Queen, returned to an assembly held on Friday, January 9th, to crown Miss Jackie Jones, the 1981 J. C. Gor- man Queen. Miss Jones’ escort was Mr. Glen Barbor. The queen's court included Miss Linda Givand, escorted by Mr. Bryant Owens; Miss Carla Stidham, escorted by Mr. Mike Knapp; Miss feels Bundy, escorted by Mr. Buseelt Holmes; and Miss Perrise Chapman, escorted by Mr. Tommy Murphy. M.C.’s fae this year’s assembly were Miss Kristine Anderson and Mr. Russell Pen- ney. Special speakers were members of the Petrella family, who had wrestled for Mansfield Senior in past years. Appropriate music was pro- Sided te the = Band under the direction of Percy Hall.
