The cross country team had another discouraging season this year, finishing with an 0-8 record. The second year let- ter winners were Todd Kochheiser, a junior, and Vernon Johnson, a senior. First year letter winners were Richard Hunter and Tom Mack, both seniors, and Bob Griggs, a freshman. Vernon Johnson received the most valuable player award, Halley Weaver wea cross country coach again this year. This year’s Golf team ended their season with an 0-9 record. They fin- ished 6th in the Mansfield Tourna- ment. First year letter winner Bill Kuenkle, a junior, was proud to receive the Team Journey Medalist and Most Valuable Player awards.
