Cross Country Team Looks to Future The cross country team had a rather discouraging season, finishing with an 0-12 record. However, there was a good turnout for the team, so next year’s prospects should be better. Wayne Curry was the outstanding runner for the year. He not only qualified for district competition, but also captured the school record for two and one-half miles — 13:38. Tygers placed fourth in the Buckeye Conference and tenth in the sectionals. Coach Halley Weaver led the cross country runners this year. Opposite page Top: Tyger runners are Row 1: T Leverette, C. Selmon, J. Kennedy, D. Baker. Row 2: W. Harkins, R. Vulgamore, T.
