Led by Buckeye Conference Coach of the Year, Dave Pierce, the Tygers pulled off upsets over 2nd ranked Findlay and 5th ranked Elyria. Tygers Upset State Ranked Teams Todd Blaising and Cliff Belmer were named team captains and most outstanding defensive lineman and offensive back respectively. Most outstanding offensive lineman was Mike Hoy, and defensive backs were Jim Scarbury, Jim Adams, and Alan Tasman.

x Seth hey. wa hand cl WPT Be act Juniors Stage Home- coming Juniors worked hard to present Homecoming, one of the big events of the fall. The assembly was held in the auditorium on October 15 to the theme Stairway to Heaven. ' Decorations featured a gold covered stairway leading to the queen's chair among the clouds and stars. After entering the auditorium, Tammy Taylor was crowned by the 1975 Queen Val Rogers. Co- captains, Cliff Belmer and Todd Blaising, then presented the game ball to Queen Tammy. State representative Sherrod Brown, a former student at MHS, was the guest speaker. The queen and her court reigned at the Lorain Admiral King game the following night.
