By his academic excellence and his will¬ ing service , Mr. Charles Sauder exhibits the spirit which we all emulate. He is not only a fine teacher, but also a fine man. Mr. Sauder graduated in 1945 from Mans¬ field Senior High School, where he was chosen the outstanding senior boy in his class. While earning his A. B. from Wooster College, he was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Sauder began his teaching career at Johnny A pple se e d Junior High School in 1952, and after two years he transferred to Senior High. During a leave of absence in 1958, he received his Master ' s Degree from Ohio State. Throughout his career, Mr. Sauder has worked mainly in the field of mathematics. This year he taught Al¬ gebra I, trigonometry, and College Math, while managing the bookstore. Mr. Sauder also serves as trustee of the Apostolic Christian Church and as direc¬ tor of its Vesper Choir. To you, Mr. Sauder, we dedicate the 1965 Manhigan. Mr. Charles Sauder r 6

During the past year, as in the previous years, the M. H. S. Tyger served as the focal point of our lives. The majority of our waking moments was spent within the con¬ fines of Senior High. Through the first part of our day we studied hard, but upon the sounding of the bell at 3:0 5 our interests and activities radiated in all directions. Some of us wer e interested in service, others in athletics, and some in cultural diversions. However, all were somehow related to school spirit--the spirit of the Tyger.
