BOARD OF EDUCATION SUPERINTENDENTS Mr. Zinser and his able assistants, working together with the Mansfield Board of Education, saw the city schools through another success¬ ful year despite the problems caused by the program of financial austerity. PRINCIPALS MR. ROBERT CLASS ' Mr. Robert Glass has served as principal of MHS for the past eight years. After graduation from Jamestown High School, he attended Cedarville College, the Ohio State University, from which he received both his A. B. and M. A. degrees, and the University of New Mexico. Presently, Mr. Glass holds membership in Rotary Club, the Y. M. C. A Board, the University Club and the Junior Achievement Board. Mrs. Glass teaches at Johnny Appleseed Junior High School, while their children, Roger, seventeen, and Mary Ami, fourteen, attend Ontario schools. In his spare time, Mr. Glass enjoys golfing, reading, gar¬ dening, and spectator sports. Under the able supervision of these men, Senior High has become known for the ever-increasing achievements of the faculty and the students. MR. ARLO PLOUGH Mr. Arlo Plough has just completed his first year as assis¬ tant principal. When asked how he enjoyed the year, he replied, It was one of the best years of my life. Mr. Plough s impressive training for his teaching career includes attending Bethany College, Iowa Pre-Flight, Kent State University, from which he received both his A B. and M. Ed. degrees, the University of New Mexico and Western Illinois University. Belonging to several educators organi¬ zations, as well as Phi Delta Kappa, and being active in various church activities, Mr. Plough finds himself quite busy. Mrs. Plough is a physical education teacher here at Senior High. Two daughters, Gwen, six, and Greta, five, complete the family.
