Boys ' and Girls ' States are modeled after the Ohio government in every detail. The citizens campaign for various offices, state, county, or municipal. Sara ran for city dog-catcher but evidently her track experience was not sufficient to get her into office. The law firm, Wagner and Lapine, waged an excellent prosecution against Highway Patrolman, Dave Blizzard, for breaking and enter¬ ing. Tom and Joe, although they drew opposite political parties, together carried on several fiery and successful debates in the House of Representatives.
