We’ll use no copied sketches, Our stories will be of the best; The poems must be original; For parodies we detest. Our jokes will all be funny. Now, really, we don’t jest. For we’ll come out victorious And at the close of this year We’ll have found the work to be but fun, And so we’ve naught to fear.
