NORCOM HIGH SCHOOL TO MAKE ROOM FOR A SCHOOL OF THE ARTS. OUR THEME FOR THE 1986-87 YEARBOOK (“ONE LAST TIME”) WAS CHOSEN SO STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF CAN LOOK BACK AND SEE THE UNITY THAT THE MERGE.PROPOSAL BROUGHT. DURING THE BOARD MEETINGS STUDENTS STUCK TOGETHER TO FIGHT FOR THEIR SCHOOL NAME, COLORS, AND PRIDE. THE STUDENTS CAME TOGETHER FOR “ONE LAST STIME THE CHANGE WILL STILL COME, BUT THE TOGETHERNESS THAT WAS SHOWN WILL LIVE FOREVER. SO LETS DO IT “ONE LAST TIME”. 3 Mustangs 1ps When The resenting Your ... The principal Mr. A.B. Niemeyer. Mr. Niemeyer has been the principal at Manor for the last two years. He makes a special effort to keep in close contact with the student body. In the morning you can see Mr. Niemeyer standing at the door greeting the students as they come in. Yes, everyone knows Mr. Niemeyer is the Principal of Manor, and we are proud to have him. While having a brief chat, Mr. Claud and Mr. Niemeyer takes a pose. These students have set standards for foreign exchange students for years to come. Each of the students are in National Honor Society. With Monday came the arrival of poodle skirts, long pony tails, and leather jackets as ‘'S0’s, 60's, and 70’s day” got into full swing. Tuesday was “Traitor Day” and students showed their pride by wearing Deep Creek colors. By the middle of the week students were “dressing to the nines” for “Costume Day” Some of the zany costumes were punk rockers, babies, Run DMC, and Cleopatra even made an appearance. On Thursday several school spirited students wore jersey’s for ‘Jersey Day” Adrian and Felicia show their spirit on Jersey Day. Dee-Dee and Beth make a ‘split’ decision! Some were scared as others were excited, and some even got frustrated! Coach Black has been coaching for fourteen years at Manor High School and led the Mustangs to the Southeastern District Champion- ship in 1983.
