On a dark stormy night in 1961, in an old attic, I dis covered in a trunk the vill and class prophecy of the Class of 1951 I opened the trunk and as I wander down memory lane, I see xell, what's this comic book about Blondie and Dagwood doing in here? Oh no, this is a picture of Bob Hessell and Angie taken during school I guess they finally got hitched Bob is a well known photographer on Holloywood and Vine Of course, Angie keeps house for her famel husband, and twins a boy who likes like Angie and a girl who looks like Bob And do you remember George Cooley? Well, I saw him the other day and he told me how much he enjoys his acting career Of course, you all remember him in his two best roles, Mr Jones in Almost Summer , and Butcher Boy in nProfessor, How Could You?n Both plays have had a succes ful three year run on Broadway Oh yes, he's coming back to Nannsville to spend a few quiet weeks on his farm located on the scenic Woodpecker Lane As the years pass, time brings about many change How ever, there is one person that time has had little effect on She is Alethea Allen, now a graduate nurse of the Mercy Hos pital Alethea has a full time job these days As well as being a successful nurse, she has a small family of six to care for Yesterday when I was taklnr my little girl to kindergar ten, I was surprised to meet her teacher who wa none other than my old classmate, Emma Pollock Even though she has her hand full teaching kindergarten, she still funds time to spend As the years roll away, I see a modern farm with a tired man entering the house after a day of hard work What, is there no cute young thing to bring him his slippers ani pipe? No, for Bob Goodnough could not pick one from his collection of girls However, he is happy in his position as the man about town The other day I heard a startling roar overhead, and as I looked up, I knew it could be no one else but Kenneth Chat terton and his new jet plane He's really traveling fast now because he has to make it home to Singapore in time for sup er and to take his petite red head to the Broadway hit, ' ofessor, How Could You9' To day, I ate my lunch in a little cafeteria on Iain Street You can well imagine my surprise when I dlscovered that the owner and manager was Catherine Preston, our old cla smate After questioning her, I found out that one of her uncles had died, leaving her a large sum of money She invested thls in a cafeteria and a husband Last night I attended a movie at the local theater The play was called nGone With the Breeze starring Betsy Bradle as the leading lady playing opposite Clark Cable At last Betsy has PBBCHSQ the heights that she dreamed of as a famous movie star and of having two red beaded curly haired daughters named Nelody Ann and April Diane In looking to the future we see our dear classmate, Phyllis, a nurse, taking care of patients in her snare time The rest of her time is devoted to caring for her family of 3 girls and 3 boy , and her husband who requires more care than all six children And our dear Harold He served several years in Uncle Sam's Army, but at last they recognized h s ability and made him Dr sinstein's assistant They say he carries a couple H bombs around just to scare the chickens out of his garden 31 I a 1' A.
