Many in our class participated Time was really flying the next thing we knew we were in the Jumor class We worked hard this year for our Junlor a play called Just Ducky which was a great success under the guidance of Mrs Bradham The Junior Festival another of our presenta tions also offered a big turn out However all tht work was worth it because it helped us to show the Senlorsone ofthe biggest eventsof all for we had to raise the money Senior Banquet We presented Seniors at last' And one of the saddest yet happlest years of our lives Our principal Mr Boroughs who had 11Ved through our high school years with us was no longer passing through Mannmg portals Mr Clyde Beden baugh our new principal soon fitted himself graciously to the daily pattern and endeared himself to us IVlr Mayer our Superintendent left along with Mr Boroughs We liked our new Superintendent Mr Weldon from the start because on the very first day he an nounced that we would have no examinatlons All in all he won our hearts Time finally came for us to begin work on our prized pos session Mah1scan ' Mrs Bradham spon sored our Senior Play 'The Boarding House Reach another great success The receiving of our class rings brought us satisfacuon and thrilled us with the 1dea that we were really and truly seniors We extended our thanks to the Junior Class for featuring such a wonder ful banquet for us The attendants for the May Court were Barbara Jean Fann Nancy Pat Bagnal and Gloria Rich From the eleventh grade the Maid of Honor was Roseanne Eadon I Sybil Lee was crowned Queen of May Our Graduating mghtl ' ' There were tears in our eyes but we were the proudest ever' ' We were now more than just Semors we were symbols for the students following us Sybil bee Class H1StOF1aH . . 3 . . .V - . . . . . , J . , , .
