ur Aussie 5 .3 ,,,,,.. ing, ,,,,. ,, ,,,.,. ,,,.. , WM The Popp family: Matt and Trudi ffront rowj, Marty, Cathy, and Larry fback rowj. Trudi modeling jeans she bought in Colorado. Where do I begin? My year here in America has been one of the most enjoyable years of my life. I have learned and experienced so many different things throughout the past twelve months which will help me in the years to come. There is no one word to thank all of the people of Manning of what they have done for me. All of the kindness and friendship which was extended to me during this time made the year seem that much better. My year is something that I will never forget for many years to come. Being a stranger in a foreign country could have caused many problems. But everyone just accepted me and was always willing to help a confused Aussie become part of the community. It meant a lot to me to see that people were so generous and socialable, and I was able to settle in as if it were home. During the school year I participated in both sports and activities which I' would of never done. I would like to thank everyone associated with the school for the guidance each has shown to me, and all the things which were given to me through the school. When I return to Australia I will take with me some fond memories and share them with all my family. Last but not least an extra special thank you to my friends, who without them my year couldn't have been so good. Nobody could ask for better ones. I couldn't have wished to be placed in a better community of be given a nicer family to stay with. Hopefully in the near future I will be back to visit but in the mean time my appreciation and best wishes is extended to everyone.
