MR. RAYMOND VAN GIESEN Superintendent of Schools BOARD OF EDUCATION Our Board of Education meets twice monthly to discuss administration policy, hiring of teachers, F-M curriculum and education, and all that relates to running our high school. The main project of the Board of Education this year has been the passing of the Bond Issue and the completing of plans for the new school. This, as well as their other duties, has been handled in an excellent manner. Mr. Van Giesen, district superintendent of schools and an advisor on the Board, helped with the Bond Vote and worked hard and long on the school plans. Yet he found time to attend National Honor Society Installations and has always had a cheerful smile and a friendly hello for F-M students. 9 Seated: Mr. Lewis, Mrs. Perkins, Mr. Kelley. A D It's been a busy year! Surveying the ac- tivity calendar in his office is Mr. Grif- fin, our Vice-Principal. The activity pro- gram in one of his many duties in the role of a chief administrator of F-M. We at F-M are fortunate to have such an understanding and liberal principal as Mr. Lewis. His warm smile is as much a part of school tradition as the Oak tree. GUIDANCE COUNSELORS F-M students are fortunate to have guidance counselors as helpful and interested as Mrs. Farnham and Mr. Saunders. Mrs. Nelsen assists them as secretary.
