CLASS TRIP On Monday, June 1st, the Seniors packed up and headed out on their week-long trip to sunny California. After a little airsickness and four hours, we arrived at the Los Angelos Airport. R We then drove to San Diego for a three-day stay. While there we visited Shamu and friends at Sea World, went to the San Diego Zoo, and took in the Padres baseball game. On our way back to Anaheim, we hit the beach with our Illinois tans and visited the Mission at San Juan Capistrano. Thursday night we attended Senior Grad Nite at Disneyland which included everything from Space Mountain and the carousel to Kool and the Gang. Then after a short pit stop at our hotel, we were on our way again — to NBC and Universal Studios. In the afternoon we toured through Beverly Hills. Saturday we went to Knott’s Berry Farm and the Hollywood Wax Museum. Sunday was a free day which we spent everywhere from the ball game and mountains to the beaches. MANLIUS HIGH SCHOOL FLT 75 CHECK IN HERE Monday it was back to the airport and then home — with a few minor delays. Through all of the sunburn, tours, waterfights, surfing, shopping, shaving cream, and van rides, we found that we had a lot more to bring home than just souvineirs. We had a weekfull of fun and memories to last a lifetime.
