The Drama Club presented another fine production, Lock, Stock, and Lipstick, on November 16 and 17, 1972. Cordon Warren, the student counselor in Pembroke High, returns to the fall semester of school only to find that the Board of Education has decided to add a woman counselor to their staff. Jane Gardner, the new counselor, breezes in and Gordon takes an immediate dislike to her. Jane, with no roof over her pretty head, moves into Gordon's precious domain--in comes Jane, Lock, Stock and Lipstick. Mrs. Maggs, a new cleaning woman, tucks everything in place and Mr. Plunkett, head custodian, insists on being given his proper title, that of Supervising Sanitary Engineer. Mrs. Donley, and her family, new in town believes her children can do no wrong. Her son, Don, is a born leader but Larry is only a shade above the level of a delinquent. Miss Entwhistle, the school principal, resigns at the end, while Miss Prather gets involved in more than she can cope with. A delightful comedy that brought much enjoyment to its viewers.
