SPRING CARNIVAL APRIL 21-22 The 1967 Manlius High School Spring Carnival began at 5:30 p.m. April 21. A talent show was held that night with Cheryl Sandrock winning first place with a vocal solo. Other places were: Jr. High, a skit, 2nd place; Jeanne Hartz, vocal solo, 3rd place; and Roger Larson, vocal solo, 4th place. The next night, after the carnival booths closed, a battle of the bands was held with The Roadrunners from Walnut in first place and our own Rebels coming in a close second. The Seniors, who sponsored both the carnival and the dance, cleared over $300.00. LATIN WEEK APRIL 17-23 Latin week was celebrated by the Junior Classical League of Manlius High with a series of short skits given by the students of Latin II and a select group from the Latin Club.
