SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Betty Nanninga, secretary; A1 Carlson, treasurer; Jim Thompson, president; Randy Mullin, vice president. On August 29, 1960, we green freshmen, 18 girls and 15 boys, entered Manlius High School to begin our four years of work and fun. We elected our officers who were: president, Randy Mullin; vice president, Jim Thompson; secretary, Jeanne Dabler; treasurer, Nancy Nelson. Our class advisor was Miss Ashdown, Initiation was our big event this year. We returned as sophomores on August 28, 1961, with 34 students. During the summer we gained one girl, Marsha Hampton, and lost one, Margaret Behrends, at the end of the year. Officers were: president, Sam Johnson; vice president, Jim Thompson; secretary, Greg Berry; treasurer, A1 Carlson. Our advisor was Mr. Ericson. We ordered our class rings in the fall and received them in the spring. As juniors we began the year on August 27, 1962, with 34 students. During the summer we lost one girl, Janice Brandt, but also gained two girls, Carolyn Nolan and Linda Harp. During the year we lost the new girl, Carolyn Nolan, and also lost Penny Last. Officers were: president, Jim Thompson; vice president, Randy Mullin; secretary, Jeanne Dabler; treasurer, A1 Carlson. Our advisor this year was Mr. Dergo. On May 4, 1963, we gave the seniors their last prom with Southern Cotillion as the theme. On August 26, 1963, we started our final year with 31 students. During the summer we lost Delight Briner and during the school year we lost Linda Miller. Officers were: president, Jim Thompson; vice president, Randy Mullin; secretary, Betty Nanninga; treasurer, A1 Carlson. Our advisors were Mr. Milburn and Mr. Laswell. Our final activity was our class trip to Washington, New York, and the World's Fair, a result of four years' hard work. 18
