Juniors We the juniors of 1952 returned back to good old M.H.S. with a busy year ahead of them. The class was composed of 15 girls and ll boys, all of whom are looking forward to graduation in 1953. At the beginning of the year a new member, Shirley Allen, was added to our class. She moved here from Benton Township. During the second semester we lost two members of our class. Helena Wertz moved to Princeton and Dick Smith quit school and went to work. During the football season we put on a bake sale, some of our boys went out for football, but they did their share in helping the class. The Junior Class was given the opportunity to decorate the football field for the Homecoming. It was a lot of fun and it took a lot of time and hard work. Also during the school year we had a couple of chili dinners for the entire school. They ,proved to be a success and it seemed everyone enjoyed them. This was the first attempt at high school acting, but with everyones fine cooperation it turned out a success. At the present time we are planning on a dance some time in April. We are also busy working on the Junior and Senior banquet and prom. We hope this affair will be the biggest and most successful of the year. Our class officers for this year are: President, Lewis Reed, Vice President, Dean Etheridge, Secretary, Patsy Dabler, and Treasurer, Barbara johnson.
