Senior Class History I C 0 ntinuedl This year we elected the following officers: president, Ronnie Hewitt, vice president, Norma Hartz, secretary, Joanne Hewitt, treasurer, Charlene House. Our advisors were Miss Code and Mr. Zuege. Few changes took place in the teaching staff. Faculty members were: principal, Mr. Keistg Mr. Rice, Mr. Zuege, Mr. Scholle, Mr. Kinnamon, Mr. Davidson, Mrs. Yates, Miss Code, Mrs. Small, Miss Ropp, and Mrs. Johnson. Our activities consisted of a public dance and a class play, Seventeen is Terrific , which was presented during the first part of the second semester. We were given the responsibility of preparing for the junior-senior prom. Our theme was Mayday Romp , and it took a great deal of work and effort to make it as pretty as it turned out to be. I In August of lil, 21 seniors entered the high school for their last year. . This year we were under the supervision of Mr. Keist, principal, Mrs. Yates, Miss Code, Mrs. Small, Miss Hensel, Mrs. johnson, Mr. Davidson, Mr. Vasen, Mr. Kinne, Mr. Gleich, and Mr. Rice, who was later replaced by Mt. Fred Russell. This year we chose the following oliicers: president, Ronnie Hewitt, vice president, Jerry Dabler, secretary, Norma Hartz, treasurer, Margaret Schmitt. Our sponsors this year were Mrs. Yates and Mr. Davidson. Our class sponsored the homecoming dance this year for the first time, breaking the tradition of the alumni sponsorship. Our class play, The Camp- bells Are Coming , which was presented to the public in the early spring, was a huge success. We plan to take our senior trip the first week of june.
